Eileen Herlie (Myrtle, AMC)Eileen Herlie “Myrtle Fargate”
Eileen Herlie joined, “All My Children” in 1976 as Myrtle Lum Fargate, a salt-of-the-earth woman with a diverse background, including living the life of a “carney” performer. Her character currently runs a boarding house and a fashion boutique. 
Herlie was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland where she also received her theatre training. She practiced at the Scottish National Theatre and in the English theatre. She has appeared on Broadway many times throughout her lengthy career, opposite many notable stars. Some of her fellow co-stars include Jackie Gleason, Ray Bolger, Walter Pidgeon and Richard Burton with whom she co-starred as Gertrude the Queen in "Hamlet" on Broadway. She also played Gertrude to Lawrence Olivier’s "Hamlet" in the feature film, and the movie won an Academy Award, as did Olivier.
She was nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress (1984, 1985 and 1986). Herlie resides in New York. She is 5’4 and celebrates her birthday on March 8th.
Eileen Herlie’s birth name is actually Eileen Herlihy. She was nominated for a Tony Award in 1960 for Best Actress in “Take Me Along.” She was great friends with former AMC co-star, Louis Edmonds (ex Tyler Wallingford) and is quoted extensively in his biography “Big Lou,” by Craig Hamrick.

Days of our Lives Spencer Neville says playing Derrick is a blast.

Spencer Neville (Derrick, Days of our Lives) said that playing his character can best be described as "Having a blast!"

"I'm having the time of my life. It is a lot of fun doing the role, and I work with the greatest actors Casey Moss (JJ), Guy Wilson (Will), Christopher Sean (Paul), and Freddie Smith (Sonny)." Neville said. "I have to say, it is just is a joy."

Neville has been with the show about a year and said he was hired for five episodes. Then it went to ten and on and on. "I graduated from being a bell boy at a hotel to becoming a love interest," he said with a laugh.
